This short poem is an excerpt from my debut book of poetry. It’s taken from the final section and is about a boycott action that took place over ten years ago to protest the Gaza blockade, just like our peers across the globe are doing again, right now. The book uses a hybrid of verse, prose, and imperative command to tell an allegory of occupation and displacement. A call to action for the reader to participate in our struggle, the book will be released with Giramondo in 2024.
